Beni Rouge

Beni Rouge is made from safflower , which includes 99% of yellow pigment and 1% red pigment, carthamin . To make this red pigment, a skilled workman takes a lot of time to extract and concentrate it into a powder. This is pure red pigment without any other kind of pigments and colors added. The method of production is very special and is kept secret. Therefore, no other company can produce this red rouge without this company in Japan even today. This rouge is iridescence in color when it is dry, and the color changes into a vivid deep red when it is combined with water. When you use this product, start by using the rouge brush with water. When you want to get a deep color, spot it on and onto your lip. In the Edo period, people would put a thin layer of rouge on their cheeks as a make-up base or cheek rouge. People would make a faintly pink healthy face with this rouge. They also would put it on their eyelids or earlobes and sometimes used it as dyes for fingernails as well. This rouge is usually kept upside down because the bright red color keeps best when it is not exposed to light and humidity.

Geisha Brush

Being made individually, arranging more than three hairs by the professional workman who acquired traditional technology from the Edo period. Some major brands brushes like M.A.C, Smash box, Givenchy, Estee Lauder, Lancome Versace are made by this company. This brush has been used when Japanese stage actors and the Geisha-girls put lipstick on their faces. Since the brush is using soft Kolinskyfs hair, this is not suitable for using with the brush, which needs a harder and shorter length of hair. There are two kinds of length of hair, one is long, 18cm(7.0 inch) and other is short, 12cm(4,7 inch).
